Jamon Neilson
Jamon Neilson earned an MS and BS of science degree in Physics from Utah State University (USU) in 1999, and 2001. He also completed a third BS in 2004 Aviation studies from USU. His studies included faster than light travel with special and general relativity. As a graduate student, he participated in building and developing several science payloads that flew onboard the International Space Station. Jamon's thesis dissertation was to conduct crucial exhaust thrust measurements for a satellite Ion Hall Effect engine at the Aerospace Corporation located in El Segundo, CA. He has also participated in the Mars Deseret Research Station (MDRS), located in southern UT. MDRS is a mock-up habitat module used to simulate living conditions for astronauts that may travel and live on Mars. Current interest includes advanced spacecraft propulsion systems that may power spacecraft to distant planets and galaxies.
